Plate sheet is one of the hot rolled and highly preferred steel products in terms of use. Rectangular or square shaped semi-products are obtained by continuous pouring and freezing of liquid steel, also called slab. As a result of hot rolling in rolling mills at a temperature of at least 1700 °F, plate sheets of different thicknesses and sizes are produced. These metal-derived products, which are suitable for welding, have a wide range of uses due to their resistance to aging and suitability for cold forming.
